Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roger Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Calzaghe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe thows a body shot but no joy.
Gomez avoids the body shot from Calzaghe.
Calzaghe tries to clinch up but Gomez circles away and keeps his distance.

Gomez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Calzaghe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gomez is looking to advance position but Calzaghe won't allow it.

Calzaghe's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Calzaghe rolls with it to try and escape but Gomez cranks on the arm and Calzaghe is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
