Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vova Aushev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chester Taylor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Taylor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aushev doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Taylor.
Aushev is trying to control but can't.
Taylor is taking a breather. Aushev says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Taylor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Taylor throws a quick inside leg kick.
Taylor throws a shot to the body.
Aushev defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Taylor.
Taylor lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Vova Aushev has been cut.
Taylor throws out a powerful jab.
Vova Aushev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor throws a series of strikes that have Aushev backpedaling.
Taylor misses with a body kick.
Taylor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Taylor jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aushev takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Aushev avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Taylor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Aushev is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.
A jab from Taylor finds it's way through Aushev's defenses.

Taylor fails to land the takedown.
Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aushev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Aushev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Taylor counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Aushev is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Taylor tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Aushev counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Chester Taylor dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Vova Aushev's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A nice combination there by Taylor.
Taylor misses with a jab, cross combination.
Taylor gets a clinch.
Taylor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Aushev is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Taylor gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Taylor wants the takedown. Aushev is fighting it off but Taylor persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Aushev's guard against the cage.
Aushev pulls Taylor in close to prevent any damage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Taylor takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Taylor tries to bum rush Aushev with a series of wild strikes but Aushev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taylor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Taylor decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Aushev, up you get!
Taylor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aushev drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth.

Taylor wants to control but Aushev postures up.
Aushev has control of an arm but Taylor manages to advance to Aushev's back!
Taylor looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That's time! Aushev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Taylor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aushev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Aushev stuffs the takedown attempt from Taylor. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet.
Taylor looks for a takedown but Aushev sprawls well.
Aushev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taylor swivels and escapes.

and Taylor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vova Aushev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chester Taylor.
Some bone on bone action there as Aushev checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Taylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aushev to the mat! Aushev manages to get full guard.

and Taylor counters with a left and a right that stings Aushev.

Taylor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Aushev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taylor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vova Aushev is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Taylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Taylor throws a wild body kick that Aushev sees coming a mile off.
Taylor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aushev.
Taylor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Chester Taylor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Taylor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
