Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trey Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Haseesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by Go to sleep. Haseesh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Guns n Roses - Mr Brownstone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trey Wilson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Omar Haseesh! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson gets a takedown into half guard. Wilson thows a huge punch but Haseesh dodges it nicely.
Wilson prevents Haseesh from improving his position. Wilson throwing shots but Haseesh is blocking nicely. Wilson wants to work for an arm triangle but Haseesh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Haseesh is trying to stand up here but Wilson is controlling him well. Wilson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Haseesh keeping control of the position. Wilson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Haseesh dips to his left and cracks Wilson with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haseesh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Haseesh bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilson's head. Wilson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wilson lands in his opponent's guard. Wilson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Haseesh manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Haseesh sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wilson's guard. Wilson missing with punches from the bottom.
Haseesh seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Haseesh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wilson is looking for a sweep. Haseesh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wilson is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson is breathing heavily. Wilson is not content to let Haseesh control the position. Wilson actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haseesh wants to pass to mount but Wilson is defending the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Haseesh cracks Wilson with a right hand to the side of the head. Haseesh dips to his left and cracks Wilson with an uppercut! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Haseesh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haseesh misses with a body kick. Haseesh lands a big head kick that sends Wilson tumbling to the mat! Haseesh takes a step backwards and waves Wilson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wilson is rocked! Haseesh is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Haseesh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Haseesh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilson. Haseesh lands a nice shot to the body.
Wilson seems to have got his legs back now. Haseesh lands a jab. Haseesh scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wilson in his tracks. Haseesh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Haseesh clinches with his opponent.
Haseesh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wilson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Haseesh scores with a hook to the body. Wilson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Haseesh lands a big right hand that sends Wilson crashing to the mat! Haseesh stays standing though and waves Wilson back to his feet! Wilson shoots in and drives through. Haseesh sprawls well. Haseesh cracks Wilson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wilson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Haseesh pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wilson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omar Haseesh! Omar Haseesh is the new lightweight champion!
