Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between anderson cro cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Peixoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peixoto has chosen Jorge Ben - Mas que nada as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, anderson cro cop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiago Peixoto!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peixoto fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peixoto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says cro cop as he avoids it easily.
Peixoto fails to land the takedown.
cro cop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peixoto tries to avoid it but cro cop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peixoto to the ground. Peixoto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for cro cop, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
cro cop stuffs the takedown.
anderson cro cop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiago Peixoto.
cro cop misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
cro cop tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
cro cop throws a looping overhand right but Peixoto ducks down to avoid it.
Peixoto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
cro cop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Peixoto.
That's one minute gone in the round.
cro cop will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Peixoto tries for a takedown but cro cop circles away easily
and cro cop counters with a three punch combo that has Peixoto backing up. Peixoto nods at cro cop to acknowledge the strikes.
A lazy left from cro cop finds it's target.
cro cop lands a with a good body shot.
cro cop shoots in but no luck this time.
cro cop throws a series of punches but Peixoto avoids them all with ease.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Peixoto is defended easily by cro cop.
Nice cross by cro cop.

Peixoto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and cro cop makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
cro cop darts in trying to clinch
and Peixoto counters with a thumping low kick.
cro cop turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
cro cop tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Peixoto swivels and escapes.
cro cop throws a head kick that Peixoto semi-blocks.
cro cop looks to land a combination but Peixoto avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
cro cop throws a right and a left that Peixoto avoids nicely.
Peixoto moves into the clinch.
cro cop avoids the elbow strike from Peixoto, against the cage.
cro cop looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Peixoto successfully pulls guard.
Peixoto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. cro cop is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Peixoto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take cro cop's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peixoto is looking to control cro cop but cro cop is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Peixoto is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged cro cop with him. cro cop is trying to defend but Peixoto has an arm under the chin now! cro cop grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tiago Peixoto!
