These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hitlar tries to keep at a distance but dog has taken the fight into the clinch.

dog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hitlar throws a series of punches but dog moves out of range.
dog keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hitlar.

Hitlar cracks dog with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! dog looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hitlar finish him?

It looks like bounty dog has been cut.

dog darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hitlar is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

dog tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hitlar throws a shot from downtown. dog moves away and avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hitlar lands an overhand right.
dog fails to land with a series of punches.
Hitlar thuds a left hand into dog's body.
dog looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hitlar drops dog with a straight left! Oh this is bad for dog! Hitlar dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
