PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beghan Fly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fly kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Raise Hell by hed(PE). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs shoots in but Fly avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fly throws a jab but it's blocked by Briggs.
Briggs drops his hands momentarily and Fly takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Briggs.
Briggs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Beghan Fly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashad Briggs.
Nice takedown defense from Fly. No joy for Briggs on that attempt.
Briggs has a takedown stuffed.
Briggs looks gassed!
Fly lands with a nice body punch.
Fly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Fly shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Briggs's guard.

Briggs is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fly is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Briggs is still in real trouble! Can Fly finish him?
Fly is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Briggs is working an open guard so Fly takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Rashad Briggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Briggs uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fly.
Fly comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fly throws a hook but Briggs blocks it.
Briggs ducks under a wild hook from Fly.
Fly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fly closes the distance looking for a takedown. Fly picks Briggs up and slams him brutally to the floor. Briggs is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
