Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Count Hytthu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Franklin's choice of entrance music: Mudvayne - Not Falling. Count Hytthu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to George Franklin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Franklin! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hytthu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Franklin as he jumps to the side. Hytthu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Franklin defends it nicely. Franklin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Franklin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hytthu is just riding it out for now. Franklin eventually gives up the hold. Franklin escapes and gets back to his feet. Franklin throws a half hearted mid kick. Franklin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hytthu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Franklin.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Franklin takes the fight into the clinch. Franklin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Franklin manages to end up in side control.

Hytthu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Franklin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Franklin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Hytthu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Franklin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hytthu's best efforts. Hytthu jumps back into Franklin's guard. Franklin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hytthu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hytthu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Franklin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hytthu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Franklin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hytthu, into his guard. Franklin with a nice head shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hytthu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Franklin's back instead. Franklin looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Franklin tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Franklin is desperately trying to improve his position but Hytthu has a good base and remains in mount. Franklin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. George Franklin has got the better of the ground game so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Count Hytthu will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Franklin ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Franklin throws a lazy right hand but Hytthu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Franklin looking to shoot here. Hytthu is staying active underneath Franklin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. And that's the end of the fight! George Franklin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Franklin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
