Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Tankard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Dover! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Tankard! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Tankard checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Dover throws a chopping leg kick but Tankard manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Dover scores with a sloppy right hand. Tankard should have avoided that one. An inside leg kick from Dover misses. Dover throws a right hand that Tankard ducks under and follows up with a left that Tankard also avoids with ease. No joy there for Tankard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Tankard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Ben Dover has been cut. Tankard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. A nice elbow there by Tankard. Tankard scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dover?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tankard is going olschool here, as he tries to force Dover to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dover shrugs it off. Dover knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tankard on the ground. Tankard with the ground and pound from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tankard looking to control and managing it successfully. Tankard has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Dover is forced to tap!
