Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Dash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dash has chosen Necro - Revenge (some get back) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dash swinging wilding here.
Dash drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Penn regains half guard. Penn trying to hold on to Dash's head to control him but Dash postures up.
Dash wants to lay and pray for a moment but Penn keeps working. Penn tries to roll over but Dash keeps him under control. Dash stands up out of the half guard. Penn punishes Dash's body with a nice straight punch. Penn closes the distance and clinches up with Dash, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes Dash against the cage but Dash circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A punch combination from Dash misses. Dash shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dash with a lazy takedown attempt and Penn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dash looks gassed! Penn scores with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dash gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Penn. Chris Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Dash. Nice body punch from Penn - that landed with a thud.
Penn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dash uses from the top position. Penn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Penn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dash's guard. Dash doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Penn is working Dash over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Dash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Penn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dash's head. Penn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Penn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dash's guard. Penn drops an elbow to the side of Dash's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn drops an elbow to the side of Dash's head. Penn wants to work for an arm triangle but Dash is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Penn passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dash! Penn scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dash?
Penn is in the full mount, landing strikes. Dash wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The referee warns Dash that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Penn with good strikes from the mount here! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dash is squirming around, avoiding Penn's attempts to control the action. Dash trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn with shots to the head and body - Dash looks very uncomfortable down there. Dash throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Penn content just to control the position here. Penn landing strikes, looking to finish! Penn landing punches. Dash is squirming around, avoiding Penn's attempts to control the action. Penn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dash's face.
Penn with a couple of short strikes. Dash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn trying to control but Dash is having none of it. Dash is trying desperately to improve position. Dash throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Penn controlling his opponent. Penn landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dash in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Penn tries to control but Dash wriggling away. Penn scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dash?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Penn dominated that round. That's time! Penn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Penn waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Dash. A telegraphed right hand from Dash misses the target. Dash throws an overhand right that lands on Penn's shoulder, as Penn tries to avoid the shot. Damon Dash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penn looks to throw the jab but Dash is out of range. Dash misses with a double jab
and Penn counters with a nice uppercut. Dash gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Penn here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Penn cracks Dash on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dash falls backwards against the cage. Penn follows up with more strikes that drop Dash to his knees. Penn keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dash! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Penn!
