Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Ransom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dexter Ransom will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Ransom!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ransom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Coleman ducks right into an uppercut from Ransom.
Coleman tries to clinch but Ransom moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Ransom. That snapped Coleman's head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ransom misses with a few strikes there.
Coleman moves into the clinch.
Ransom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coleman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ransom.
Coleman lands a high kick!
Ransom tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Coleman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ransom on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ransom fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ransom drops Coleman with a left right combo! Ransom follows him down to the ground into side control.
Ransom wants to stand but Coleman has his arm trapped.
Coleman tries to improve position but can't.
Ransom tries to stand but Coleman is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Coleman is looking for a sweep.
Coleman is breathing heavily.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Coleman throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Ransom stands up.
Coleman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Coleman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Coleman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coleman tries to move into range but Ransom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ransom gets a clinch.
Coleman wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ransom breaks the clinch.
Ransom lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ransom tests Coleman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ransom keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Coleman is rocked!
Ransom closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Coleman! Ransom dives in looking to finish! Coleman is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dexter Ransom!
