Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heurelho King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heurelho King! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as King throws out the jab. Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well. Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. King sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. King wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well. King gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
King wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. King wants to sweep but no luck. King working a defensive guard here.

Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones. Jones is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed King to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. King controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. King tries to land a sweep but no joy. King throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well. King moves into full guard.
Jones pushes down on King's leg and manages to get into half guard. King wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but King defends the submission attempt. Jones trying to pass the guard but King defending well. King gets back to full guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land. King looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range. King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Andy Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. King goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King misses with a body kick. King misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jones is looking for a kimura but King is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. King gets full guard. King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.
King looking to sweep here. No luck so far. King manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
King misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jones regains half guard. King is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer.

King moves nicely into side control. King looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jones is avoiding damage well.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. King tries to move to mount but Jones blocks the move with his legs. Jones is looking to regain half guard here but King keeps moving and retains side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. King throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target. Jones avoids the body shot from King.
King lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. King throws a front kick aimed at Jones's knee but Jones avoids it well. King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount! King wants to control but Jones is having none of it. Jones is going olschool here, as he tries to force King to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so King shrugs it off. King is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has hold of King's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and King manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Jones dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones blocks a jab. King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Good standup being displayed there by King as he connects with a hook. King misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts King, as that shot connected.
King misses with a two punch combination.
Jones instigates a clinch. Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control. Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but King is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. King tries to improve position but can't. Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there. King is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jones off and has taken his back! Both fighters are breathing heavily. King is hanging on to Jones's back as he tries to escape.
Jones avoids the strikes from King. Jones staying busy and making it hard for King to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jones tries to escape but King has the hooks in and won't let him break free. King is looking for the choke from the back position but Jones is controlling his hands well. King doesn't have the hooks in and Jones manages to turn into his guard.
Andy Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. King is trying to keep Jones in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from King. Jones feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. King wants to improve his position but instead Jones has moved into half guard.
King slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off. Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from King. King gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jones puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Jones is not content to let King control the position. Jones gets full guard. King forces his way into half guard. Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

King pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. King is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. King lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. King cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs. Jones slips a jab from King. Jones slips a straight right by King. Jones ducks under a wild hook from King. Jones scores a takedown into full mount! Jones is going olschool here, as he tries to force King to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so King shrugs it off. Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but King is having none of it. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Jones is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but King is surviving well by controlling Jones's body position as best he can. King is looking to get to half guard. King tries to improve his position but Jones has taken his back! Jones has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will King tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jones pushes King away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
