Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Action (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Action has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Action! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Power! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Action moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A bone on bone clash there as Action blocks the leg kick.
Power tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Action swivels and escapes. Power misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Action wants to clinch. Action fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Power, pushing him back against the cage. Action is trying to stall.
A right hand to the body from Power.
Action looking to slow down the pace here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Power wants to get back to striking at distance but Action won't allow it.
Action tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Power doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Power has Action pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Action manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dave Action has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Power. Action is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Power is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power breaks from the clinch.

Action tries to clinch there but Power circles away.
Power avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Power feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power content to stall in guard here. Power stands up from Action's guard - Power perhaps looking for a knockout. Power feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Power decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Action, up you get! Power looks gassed! Action is looking to clinch. Power circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Power comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Action tries to clinch but Power is having none of it. Power looks to land a left hand but Action moved out of range nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Action looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Action wants to clinch. Action is looking to clinch but Power is avoiding it.
Power keeps the fight on the outside. Action is looking to clinch. Power fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Action sprawls well initially but Power persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Power thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Action's head. Action is trying to stand.
Power looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Power passes the guard and advances to mount! Power throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Action because Power loaded up on that one. Action wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like Dave Action has been cut. Power is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Action is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Action flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Power anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Action and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Power slips an arm under Action chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Power has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Power is squeezing on Action like an anaconda would it's prey. Action fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chris Power!
