Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos Del Bonita!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Bonita feints and as Diaz raises his hands in defense, Del Bonita changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Del Bonita sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Del Bonita doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Del Bonita manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Diaz working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Del Bonita has passed into half guard!
Del Bonita perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Diaz wants to control but Del Bonita is keeping busy.
Diaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Diaz keeping hold of Del Bonita's head, controlling as best he can.
Diaz tries to roll over but Del Bonita keeps him under control.
Del Bonita tries to pass to full mount but Diaz defends it.
Diaz moves into full guard.
Diaz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Del Bonita doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Diaz is tightening it up a little... Del Bonita has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Del Bonita reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Del Bonita taps out! nice BJJ there by Diaz!
