The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva blocks a jab.
Dane Stuart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws out a loose jab but Stuart uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silva is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Silva looks to throw the jab but Stuart is out of range.
Silva takes a swing at Stuart's ribcage but misses.
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stuart walks into a straight right hand from Silva.
Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stuart throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.

Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stuart was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.

Stuart throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.

Stuart misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.

Stuart looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Stuart thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stuart - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stuart. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stuart lands with a kick to the temple. Silva shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Stuart connects with a stiff jab that staggers Silva - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
