Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Runar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runar comes to the cage accompanied by Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings. Barnes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Brock Barnes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Runar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Runar tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Runar is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Barnes off and has taken his back!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barnes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Runar is trying to control the position but Barnes postures up.
Runar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Barnes!

Sven Runar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Runar throws a right hand that Barnes ducks under and follows up with a left that Barnes also avoids with ease.
Barnes throws an overhand right that lands on Runar's shoulder, as Runar tries to avoid the shot.
Barnes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Runar napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Runar parries the strikes from Barnes easily there. Barnes is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Runar to escape.

That was a close round but I would say that Sven Runar will probably get the nod.

Runar throws a lazy right hand but Barnes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Barnes looks up at the clock and then as Runar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Barnes smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Barnes creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Runar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Barnes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Runar is just riding it out for now. Barnes eventually gives up the hold.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Barnes throws a body punch but Runar moves out of range.
Sven Runar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Barnes misses with a looping right.
Runar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brock Barnes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Runar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sven Runar.
I think Runar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
