The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kehoe tries to clinch but Donaldson moves out of range. Kehoe tries to clinch up. Donaldson swats away the attempt to clinch by Kehoe. Donaldson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Donaldson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Donaldson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Donaldson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kehoe tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Donaldson moves into the clinch. Kehoe breaks the clinch.
Kehoe looks to clinch and Donaldson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kehoe wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kehoe lands a lovely overhand right. Kehoe closes the distance looking to clinch and Donaldson moves into the clinch. Donaldson lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Donaldson has picked Kehoe up - he's going for a ride! Donaldson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Donaldson missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Donaldson connects with a nice short shot to Kehoe's temple. Donaldson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kehoe is looking to get back to is feet but Donaldson passes into side control.
Kehoe is looking for a sweep. Donaldson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kehoe some visible discomfort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kehoe throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Donaldson landing punches. Donaldson landing punches. Kehoe is trying to escape the mount.

MacKenzie Donaldson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Donaldson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Donaldson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kehoe closes the distance looking to clinch and Donaldson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Donaldson drives through and clinches with Kehoe against the cage.
Kehoe gets through Donaldson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Donaldson missing with knees to the body.
Donaldson breaks the clinch.
Donaldson has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Kehoe swats away the attempt to clinch by Donaldson. Donaldson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Donaldson misses with an uppercut
and Kehoe counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Kehoe looks at the referee who does nothing so Kehoe lands a crushing right that sends Donaldson to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Kehoe!
