Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorma Einari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Raised Fist - Words and Phrases. Jorma Einari struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jorma Einari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Einari keeps the fight on the outside.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alvarez is defended easily by Einari.
Alvarez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Alvarez is looking to improve his position but Einari isn't that keen on the idea.
Einari has hold of Alvarez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Alvarez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Einari jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Alvarez is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Alvarez and Einari has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
