The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Kingman tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kingman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanchez keeps the fight on the outside.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Sanchez does no damage.

Sanchez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kingman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanchez on the ground.
