Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Zentsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Firestarter. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zentsov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zentsov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Summers tries to avoid it but Zentsov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Summers to the ground. Summers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zentsov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Summers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Summers moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Summers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Summers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Summers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zentsov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Zentsov is looking to stand up but Summers won't let him.
Zentsov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Summers dives on top into guard.
Summers slips nicely into half guard.
Summers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Summers is trying to control. Zentsov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Summers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Summers remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zentsov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Summers asserts his dominance and retains side control.
