Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sombat Banchamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sombat Banchamek has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sombat Banchamek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, George Ray!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ray lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Banchamek dodges the ground and pound from Ray.
Banchamek managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ray.
Ray landing a few strikes.
Ray fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Ray stands up.
A punch combination from Ray misses.
Banchamek scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Ray gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ray is trying to break the clinch but Banchamek is controlling him.

Banchamek looking to throw knees to the head but Ray is blocking nicely.
Ray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Banchamek smiles and moves away.

Banchamek darts in and clinches Ray up against the cage.

Ray is trying to maintain a safe position but Banchamek gets an underhook and turns Ray into the cage.

Banchamek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Banchamek closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ray is trying to force a seperation but Banchamek has the dominant position.
Ray is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Nice elbow from Banchamek.
Ray blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A frustrated look appears on Banchamek's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Banchamek keeps control of Ray as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Ray has a couple of punches blocked by Banchamek.
Banchamek prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sombat Banchamek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Ray.

Banchamek is looking to stand but Banchamek has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ray keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ray is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
