Gandhi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hungry Like The Wolf. Tres Santos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killing in the name of - Rage Against the Machine. Mahatma Gandhi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Senior Tres Santos!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tres Santos darts in and clinches Gandhi up against the cage.
Tres Santos is pushing Gandhi up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A left hand lands to the body for Tres Santos.

Tres Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tres Santos misses with a looping left.
Tres Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gandhi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mahatma Gandhi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gandhi misses with an uppercut. Tres Santos saw that one coming.
Tres Santos lands with a nice combination. Gandhi backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Mahatma Gandhi has been cut.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Gandhi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tres Santos manages to get himself to full guard.
Gandhi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tres Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tres Santos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gandhi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tres Santos doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Gandhi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Tres Santos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gandhi is pressing down on Tres Santos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gandhi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Tres Santos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gandhi's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gandhi throws a nice looking combination but Tres Santos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gandhi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tres Santos slips under a jab.
A jab lands there for Gandhi.
Gandhi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gandhi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gandhi tries to bum rush Tres Santos with a series of wild strikes but Tres Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gandhi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tres Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tres Santos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gandhi.
Tres Santos is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gandhi.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gandhi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tres Santos misses with a few strikes there.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tres Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tres Santos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tres Santos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gandhi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Gandhi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gandhi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tres Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Gandhi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Tres Santos is rocked!
Gandhi connects with a superb combination that knocks Tres Santos out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Gandhi before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Tres Santos!
