Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SERGIO SILVA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that SERGIO SILVA was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lesnar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. SILVA was covering up waiting for the punch and lesnar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
SILVA is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
SILVA is striking but lesnar is not phased and passes to half guard.
lesnar works his way into full mount!
SILVA tries to hold on but lesnar postures up.
SILVA is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but lesnar is staying active.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

lesnar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
