Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duriel Dockin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duriel Dockin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cael Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dockin scores a takedown into full mount!
Sanderson is working to get back to half guard.

Dockin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Sanderson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dockin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Dockin struggling a bit here.
Dockin tries to improve position but can't.

Sanderson in side control lands a decent elbow.
Dockin is letting Sanderson control him for a moment.
Dockin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dockin tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Sanderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dockin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sanderson stands up and beckons Dockin to his feet.
Sanderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dockin counters with a single leg into guard. Sanderson didn't expect that.
Dockin trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dockin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Sanderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Sanderson, not yet.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sanderson holds on and takes a little breather.
Sanderson is looking to sweep but instead, Dockin has passed into half guard.
Sanderson looks gassed!
Dockin wants to free his trapped foot but Sanderson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sanderson is not content to let Dockin control the position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sanderson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dockin drops back looking for a leg! Sanderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanderson manages to kick Dockin off! Dockin jumps back into Sanderson's guard.

Sanderson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Dockin prevents Sanderson from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Duriel Dockin will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Sanderson tries for a takedown but Dockin circles away easily

and Dockin counters with a shoot takedown. Sanderson fights it but they end up in guard.

Dockin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sanderson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dockin has Sanderson in his guard.
Sanderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dockin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sanderson is breathing heavily.
Dockin wants to improve his position but instead Sanderson has moved into half guard.
Sanderson moves nicely into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dockin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sanderson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Dockin tries to get to full guard but Sanderson has control of the leg.
Dockin wants to control but Sanderson is keeping busy.
Still in half guard, Sanderson seems content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dockin tries to roll over but Sanderson keeps him under control.
Sanderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dockin keeps working.
Sanderson prevents Dockin from improving his position.
Dockin is looking to control Sanderson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dockin avoid being mounted?

Dockin actively working from the bottom here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sanderson tries for a takedown but Dockin circles away easily

and Dockin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sanderson managing to control the position.
Sanderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sanderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dockin is one step ahead there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanderson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dockin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Sanderson keeping moving, preventing Dockin from controlling successfully.
Dockin advances position into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Duriel Dockin dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Sanderson blocks a head kick by Dockin.

Sanderson is thwarting Dockin's attempts to control the position.
Dockin gets full guard.

Dockin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Dockin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sanderson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dockin.

Sanderson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dockin to his feet.

Sanderson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Sanderson is pressing down on Dockin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dockin is holding on for now.

Cael Sanderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dockin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
