Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Orland Kurtenbach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galf Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kurtenbach can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nelson is looking to escape.
Kurtenbach jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nelson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kurtenbach is looking to take a break and control but Nelson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Galf Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurtenbach moves out of range of the strikes.

Nelson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kurtenbach is working away from the top position though.

Kurtenbach leaves Nelson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kurtenbach will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nelson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
