Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Calhoun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeya Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Takeya Maeda was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bernard Calhoun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeya Maeda! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Maeda. Calhoun is trying to escape the position but Maeda is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calhoun tries to bench press Maeda off him but Maeda keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maeda tries to advance to mount but can't. Maeda slows the pace down. Calhoun gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Calhoun is trying to stand back up but Maeda is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Calhoun is looking to get back to is feet but Maeda passes into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Maeda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maeda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Calhoun wants to get back to his feet but Maeda drags him back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeya Maeda dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Maeda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Calhoun circles away. Maeda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Calhoun slaps away a takedown attempt from Maeda, before circling back to the center of the mat. Calhoun looks to score with a jab to the body but Maeda is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maeda has a takedown stuffed. Bernard Calhoun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeya Maeda.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calhoun throws a nice looking combination but Maeda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bernard Calhoun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Calhoun misses with a two punch combination.
Calhoun connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Calhoun misses the shot to the body. Maeda avoids the head kick by Calhoun.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Maeda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Calhoun as he jumps to the side. Maeda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Calhoun misses with a wild body shot. Maeda shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Calhoun is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maeda looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

A close second round but Takeya Maeda will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Maeda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Maeda looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Maeda is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Calhoun is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Calhoun has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Maeda keeping moving, preventing Calhoun from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Calhoun wants to stand but Maeda is controlling his posture from full guard. Maeda pulls Calhoun in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maeda looking for a sweep. Not yet Maeda, not yet. Calhoun got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maeda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Calhoun has managed to get both his arms back between Maeda's legs - danger averted. Calhoun wants to stand and escape but instead Maeda has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Bernard Calhoun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Calhoun wants to stand up but Maeda is controlling him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Maeda not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that's the end of the fight! Takeya Maeda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Maeda winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
