Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Van Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dai Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Do The Ayatollah kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Wilder connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Machida's hands.
It looks like Dai Machida has been cut.

and Machida counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wilder catches Machida with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilder looks to land a left hand but Machida moved out of range nicely.
Wilder drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Machida gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Machida lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Machida on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Wilder lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Machida is looking to close the distance but Wilder sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Machida crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Machida is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
