Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tex Anderton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Guy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tex Anderton! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy misses with a body kick. Guy loads up on a big right hand but Anderton slips the punch. Guy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderton. Anderton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Guy works his way to full guard. Good work. Guy wants to sweep here but Anderton controlling him for the moment. Guy wants to get back to his feet but Anderton is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anderton trying to control the position from guard on top but Guy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Anderton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Guy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Anderton trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom. Guy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Guy throws a leg kick but Anderton checks it. An inside leg kick from Guy misses. Anderton slips a jab from Guy. Anderton takes a jab right on the kisser.
Anderton misses with a hook. Guy ducked under it nicely. Anderton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Anderton staying out of range there. Guy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderton manages to avoid it. Anderton bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Guy's head. Guy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Guy is breathing heavily. Guy takes a swing at Anderton's ribcage but misses. Anderton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Guy throws an overhand right that lands on Anderton's shoulder, as Anderton tries to avoid the shot. Anderton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Anderton feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Guy sprawling to the canvas! Guy rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Anderton finish him?!
Guy is rocked!
It looks like Big Guy has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Guy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderton was well out of range. Poor timing from Guy. Guy moves out of range as Anderton strikes. Guy misses with a takedown and Anderton counters with a single leg into guard. Guy didn't expect that. Oh Guy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Anderton chips away with some ground and pound. Guy seems to have got his legs back now. Anderton trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom. Anderton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Anderton looking to pass the guard. Anderton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guy's head. Guy keeping moving, preventing Anderton from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderton prevents Guy from getting back to his feet. Anderton trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Anderton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guy's head. Anderton trying to control the position from guard on top but Guy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderton sitting in guard here, content to control. Anderton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Guy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Guy keeping moving, preventing Anderton from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Tex Anderton just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anderton lands a left and a right that send Guy crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Anderton. Guy shoots and misses and Anderton counters with a double leg. Guy bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Anderton follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Tex Anderton!
