Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Cash Jr!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a sloppy head kick and Cash Jr moves out of range easily.
Powers fails to land the takedown.
Powers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cash Jr circles away quickly and effectively.

Powers pushes Cash Jr up against the ropes in a clinch.

Powers breaks the clinch.
Powers has a takedown stuffed.

Cash Jr looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Powers!
The referee warns Powers that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cash Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Cash Jr has hold of Powers's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Powers manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Powers tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Powers tries to lock up and control but Cash Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cash Jr looking to take Powers's back but Powers rolls and after a scramble, Powers ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Powers to escape a tricky position.

Powers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Powers trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

and Cash Jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cash Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cash Jr is in close to Powers's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cash Jr is working Powers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Powers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Cash Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Powers gets the takedown into side control.
Powers blocks the strikes from Cash Jr.

Powers decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Cash Jr dodges the punch combination from Powers.
Powers tries to clinch up but Cash Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson Cash Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cash Jr maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Powers could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cash Jr has cracked it and Powers is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cash Jr!
