The bell rings for round one and we are underway! game tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range. Jackson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. game really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jackson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jackson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as game works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jackson wants to pass the guard but game is keeping the position. Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jackson with a flurry of punches that miss. Jackson stopping the sweep attempt from game. Jackson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Jackson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. game is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but game has wrist control. Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. game utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. That's one minute gone in the round. game wants to sweep but no luck. Jackson is working game over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson throws and elbow that misses. game uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson's guard. Nice move by game! game wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position. Jackson working for submissions but it's allowed game to get to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jackson is refusing to be controlled, as game sits in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in game's guard. Jackson cracks game with a solid left hand. Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. game working for a triangle but Jackson defends it easily.

game is rocked! Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. game throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. game is breathing heavily. Jackson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! game covers up, he's hurt! Jackson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Jackson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Jackson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
