Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Biggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biggins comes to the cage accompanied by My Pants. Emerson Biggins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emerson Biggins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitor Belfort! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Belfort. Belfort fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Biggins sprawls well initially but Belfort persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Belfort there. Biggins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belfort's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belfort's back! Belfort grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Biggins is trying to stick to Belfort's back but Belfort is turning into Biggins. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Biggins's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Belfort. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belfort postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Biggins looking for a guillotine here but Belfort defends easily.
Belfort stands up out of Biggins's guard for a moment - Biggins manages to land a nice upkick. Belfort really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Biggins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Belfort wants to stand but Biggins has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Biggins has his foot on Belfort's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Belfort works his way back into a safe position though. Biggins working for a triangle but Belfort defends it easily.
Biggins throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Belfort must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Biggins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Biggins is breathing heavily. Belfort missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Belfort throws a big right hand that misses. Biggins trying to strike off his back.
Biggins working a defensive guard here.
Belfort thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Biggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Belfort throws a nice looking combination but Biggins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Biggins is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A punch combination from Belfort misses. Biggins scores with a kick to the body.
Biggins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Biggins looks to land a right hand but Belfort moved out of range. Emerson Biggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body kick there by Biggins. Biggins lands with a kick to the ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A thudding body kick lands there by Biggins!
Biggins scores with a spinning back kick! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Biggins throws a front kick that sends Belfort stumbling back into the cage. Biggins lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Vitor Belfort has been cut. Biggins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Biggins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Biggins is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Belfort can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Belfort working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Belfort in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Biggins looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Biggins wants to finish this one by submission but Belfort is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Biggins. Biggins working for a submission but Belfort is keeping him at bay.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort is looking to improve his position but Biggins isn't that keen on the idea. Biggins lands a big elbow. Biggins is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Biggins extends the arm and Belfort is forced to tap!
