Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jasser Tiihonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Vaananen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaananen clinches.
Vaananen manages to break the clinch.
Tiihonen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vaananen sprawls well initially but Tiihonen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tiihonen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vaananen sees it coming and defends easily.
Tiihonen looking for a submission but Vaananen manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Tiihonen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vaananen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tiihonen, into his guard.
Tiihonen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vaananen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tiihonen has his foot on Vaananen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vaananen works his way back into a safe position though.

Tiihonen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vaananen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tiihonen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vaananen's back instead.
Vaananen is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Tiihonen off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
