Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Calvo.
Calvo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Calvo is chipping away with strikes.
You can see the frustration on Sakuraba's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Calvo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sakuraba on the ground.
Sakuraba manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Calvo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Calvo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sakuraba looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Calvo is defending well. Sakuraba quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Calvo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sakuraba celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
