Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between lewis the bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dougie Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from the bomb misses.
the bomb looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

the bomb tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ferguson.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and the bomb counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferguson is looking for a triangle here but the bomb uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Ferguson wants to control but the bomb is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Ferguson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but the bomb is staying active.

Ferguson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. the bomb doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ferguson.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

so the bomb counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ferguson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but the bomb can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

the bomb stands up and waves to Ferguson to follow him.

and Ferguson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ferguson.
Ferguson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! the bomb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ferguson, into his guard.
Ferguson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ferguson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. the bomb is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to lewis the bomb.
Well the bomb has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
