Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ashton Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TY LAW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashton Bell looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ashton Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, TY LAW! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LAW lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bell takes a kick to the side of the head. Bell throws a right hand that LAW ducks under and follows up with a left that LAW also avoids with ease. LAW is looking to slow Bell down with leg kicks. LAW cracks the inside of Bell's front leg. LAW shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bell napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bell struggling a bit here. Bell is breathing heavily. Bell is looking to reverse the position. Bell seems a little lost for a moment, as LAW dominates the positioning. LAW decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bell to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! LAW throws a head kick that half lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell looks to land a left hand but LAW moved out of range nicely. Bell throws a lazy head kick and LAW counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. LAW trying to control the position from guard on top but Bell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells LAW's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bell working for submissions but it's allowed LAW to get to half guard.
LAW stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but LAW pulls his head out easily. LAW perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. LAW tries to stand and escape but Bell is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
LAW content to control rather than advance. Bell is trying to maintain the position but LAW is very close to passing his half guard. LAW decides to stand and escape the position. LAW scores with a jab to the jaw. LAW shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bell pinned against the cage. Bell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bell misses with the body kick and LAW counters with a one-two to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LAW slips under a jab. LAW shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bell sprawls well. Bell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. LAW gets slowly back to his feet. Bell throws a head kick that misses and LAW counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bell misses with a combination

and LAW counters with a one-two to the body. Ashton Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bell throws a combination that misses and LAW counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. LAW trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. Bell wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bell looking for a guillotine here but LAW defends easily.

TY LAW dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
LAW clinches up with Bell and pushes him back against the cage. LAW pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bell throws out a loose jab but LAW uses good head movement to avoid it. Bell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and LAW counters with a head kick. Bell misses with a combination
and LAW decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bell's guard. Bell is looking for a triangle here but LAW uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. LAW trying to control the action but Bell is working from the bottom. Bell throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. LAW trying to control the position but Bell is working away. LAW has control of an arm but Bell manages to advance to LAW's back! Bell tries to escape the position.
I would not like to be Bell right now.
Bell looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. LAW just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Bell trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Bell has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell trying to control but not successfully. LAW is working the ground and pound. Can Bell escape?

LAW has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bell's body.
LAW has Bell flattened out and is raining down punches. Bell trying to control the position but LAW manages to sink in the hooks. LAW just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
A lull in the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bell is trying to break free.
Bell is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it. Ashton Bell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bell tries to land a body kick and LAW counters with a series of strikes. Bell will be more careful next time no doubt. Bell throws a head kick that misses and LAW counters with an outside leg kick.
Bell is on the wrong end of a nice combination from LAW. LAW throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bell misses with a double jab
and LAW counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A head kick by Bell misses and LAW holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bell is trying to drag LAW to the mat but LAW just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TY LAW showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

LAW is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bell will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Bell is looking to work his way out of this bad position but LAW is controlling him well. LAW decides to stand back up. LAW steps back and let's Bell get back to his feet. Bell misses with a combination
and LAW counters with a nice kick to the body. LAW misses with a double jab.
No luck for LAW with that takedown attempt. Bell throws a left and a right that both miss
and LAW moves into the clinch. LAW prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. LAW just stands there and leans against the cage. LAW stalling in the clinch.
LAW goes for a takedown attempt but Bell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ashton Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TY LAW. Bell misses with a kick to the body and LAW counters with a flying knee. Nice. Bell falls off balance throwing a combination
and LAW counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bell looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bell. Bell throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Bell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because LAW is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. TY LAW is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. LAW is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bell wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and LAW manages to pass to side control. Bell looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bell is trying to stand up here but LAW is controlling him well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. LAW plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Ashton Bell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and LAW counters with a head kick. LAW lands a head kick!
LAW shoots in and bounces Bell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! TY LAW comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well LAW has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
