Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Money Villar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, ray tagalog! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. tagalog manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. tagalog escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Villar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Villar trying to control the position from guard on top but tagalog is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. tagalog working for a triangle but Villar defends it easily.

Villar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. tagalog stacks Villar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by tagalog! tagalog tries to move to mount but Villar blocks the move with his legs. tagalog is looking for a kimura. He might have it! Villar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
ray tagalog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Villar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Villar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Villar drops an elbow to the side of tagalog's head. Villar wants to stand up but tagalog is controlling the position.

tagalog manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Villar kicks off tagalog and gets to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. tagalog tries for a takedown but Villar circles away easily and Villar counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. tagalog is not content to let Villar control the position. tagalog is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Villar off and has taken his back! tagalog is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Villar defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Even with his hooks in, tagalog manages to miss with strikes from the back. tagalog has the hooks in. Villar is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. tagalog patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. tagalog is cranking Villar's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Villar! He's tightened the choke and Villar is tapping out!
