Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Cudia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saigon Driscol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Floyd Cudia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saigon Driscol! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driscol tries a head kick but it misses.
Cudia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Driscol paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cudia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Driscol sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cudia somewhat. Driscol wants to clinch but Cudia slips to the side and Cudia counters by moving into the clinch. Driscol jumps into guard, dragging Cudia to the mat.
Cudia could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Driscol throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cudia loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Driscol keeping moving, preventing Cudia from controlling successfully. Cudia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cudia tries to free his leg and advance position but Driscol is retaining full guard. Cudia trying to control but Driscol is working from the bottom. Driscol working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cudia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Driscol is tightening it up a little... Cudia has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cudia reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cudia taps out! nice BJJ there by Driscol!
