Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Emhoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones knocks Emhoff to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Emhoff is rocked!
A control attempt from Emhoff but he's now mounted!
Emhoff is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Emhoff tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Emhoff drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Emhoff has Jones in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Emhoff pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.

Emhoff shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Emhoff feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Emhoff changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Emhoff wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Emhoff won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Emhoff has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from.
Emhoff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Emhoff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Jones throws a head kick that Emhoff semi-blocks.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Emhoff moves out of range easily.
Jones closes the distance looking to clinch
and Emhoff makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jones really felt that one!
Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Emhoff's head back.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Emhoff paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Jones scores with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Jones.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jones. That's going to slow Emhoff down.
Emhoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Emhoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Emhoff, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Emhoff avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Emhoff tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jack Emhoff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones cracks Emhoff with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Emhoff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Emhoff off to one side.
Eddie Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Emhoff.

Emhoff shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jones closes the distance looking to clinch
and Emhoff counters with a head kick. That will keep Jones thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Emhoff moves into range and clinches up with Jones.

Jones lands an elbow inside that Emhoff shrugs off.
Emhoff has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones lands an elbow that stopped Emhoff in his tracks for a moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jones lands with a slapping head kick.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Emhoff counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Emhoff trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jack Emhoff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Emhoff is working for a submission of some sort.
