The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ocuta takes the fight into the clinch.
ocuta prevents the takedown attempt.
ocuta escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Skyscraper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in ocuta's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skyscraper is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and ocuta defends it well.

Skyscraper is controlling the pace.

Skyscraper looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
ocuta wants to control but Skyscraper is keeping busy and won't allow it.
ocuta is looking to improve his position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Skyscraper is looking to advance position but ocuta won't allow it.
Skyscraper moves into full mount! ocuta won't be happy about that!
ocuta tries to lock up and control but Skyscraper gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Skyscraper trying to control but ocuta is having none of it.
ocuta is bucking up trying to escape but Skyscraper cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Skyscraper is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. ocuta can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
ocuta on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if ocuta tries to get out of the position.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. ocuta looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Skyscraper! Submission of the night perhaps?
