Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glen DANZIG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodger Mcgillacutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DANZIG's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Misfits-Where Eagles Dare. Rodger Mcgillacutty told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgillacutty gets caught flat footed, as DANZIG shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
DANZIG would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
DANZIG stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcgillacutty swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DANZIG drops back looking for a leg! Mcgillacutty is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcgillacutty manages to kick DANZIG off! DANZIG jumps back into Mcgillacutty's guard.

DANZIG stops Mcgillacutty from standing up.
DANZIG has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mcgillacutty is proving hard to escape from.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
DANZIG tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcgillacutty swats him away and circles back towards the center.
DANZIG works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
DANZIG displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mcgillacutty throws out the jab.
DANZIG jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rodger Mcgillacutty is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
DANZIG darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mcgillacutty wants to control but DANZIG is keeping busy.
DANZIG wants to stand up but Mcgillacutty is controlling the position.

Mcgillacutty throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Mcgillacutty is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
DANZIG looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
DANZIG is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mcgillacutty doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time DANZIG.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mcgillacutty slaps away a takedown attempt from DANZIG, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
DANZIG throws out a loose jab but Mcgillacutty uses good head movement to avoid it.

DANZIG decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

DANZIG is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mcgillacutty wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! DANZIG's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
DANZIG shoots in for a takedown but Mcgillacutty shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
DANZIG shoots in but Mcgillacutty avoids the takedown attempt easily.

DANZIG tries for a takedown but Mcgillacutty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
DANZIG dodges the punch combination from Mcgillacutty.
Mcgillacutty throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
DANZIG throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mcgillacutty counters with a stiff right hand.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
DANZIG quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for DANZIG but it's paid off an Mcgillacutty is forced to tap! Nice work by DANZIG.
