The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pritchett lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Pritchett misses with an uppercut. payne saw that one coming.
payne tries to clinch up.
Pritchett tries a head kick but it misses.
A combination from Pritchett does no damage.
Pritchett works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
payne closes the distance and pushes Pritchett back into the cage.
Pritchett looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Pritchett doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pritchett tries to circle away but payne has him pinned against the cage.
Pritchett wants to break free but payne has control.

payne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
payne blocks the elbow strike.
Pritchett has a couple of punches blocked by payne.
payne throws an elbow but it misses.
payne breaks from the clinch.
Pritchett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
payne tries to clinch but Pritchett moves out of range.
Pritchett listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Pritchett lands with a straight right. payne didn't see that one coming.
payne is rocked!
Pritchett throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
payne is still on wobbly legs! Can Pritchett finish him?
Pritchett tries to bum rush payne with a series of wild strikes but payne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
payne seems to have recovered his senses.
payne takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
payne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pritchett swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pritchett drops payne with a straight left! Oh this is bad for payne! Pritchett dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
