Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Du Hast. Jackson has chosen Rampage as his entrance music. Bas Belfort has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a double jab.
Belfort misses with a head kick.
Jackson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Belfort is able to avoid easily.
Jackson misses with a straight left.
Belfort punishes Jackson's body with a nice straight punch.
Belfort misses with a head kick.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Belfort was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Belfort moves away.
Belfort works the jab nicely.
Belfort staying out of range there.
Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Belfort.
Belfort comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jackson looks gassed!
Belfort lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Belfort lands with a nice combination. Jackson backs away looking to recover.
Jackson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Belfort counters with a flying knee that drops Jackson! Belfort dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bas Belfort!
