Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jack Atkinson enters the ring!

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Cain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Atkinson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cain throws a right hand that Atkinson ducks under and follows up with a left that Atkinson also avoids with ease. Atkinson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cain is looking to clinch. Atkinson slips a jab from Cain. Cain throws a shot from downtown. Atkinson moves away and avoids it. Cain looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Atkinson trying to control here.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Cain trying to pass the guard but Atkinson defending well. Atkinson wants to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Cain will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Atkinson counters with a two punch combo. Cain looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Cain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Atkinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Atkinson has managed to get both his arms back between Cain's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Atkinson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Atkinson tries to free his leg and advance position but Cain is retaining full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Atkinson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Atkinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
