Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santiago Sanchez! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oberdorf tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Oberdorf throws a head kick that misses. Sanchez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sanchez lands in his opponent's guard. Sanchez passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sanchez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Oberdorf, who protects the arm well. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oberdorf keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sanchez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Oberdorf has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sanchez wants to control but Oberdorf is keeping him busy. Sanchez has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Oberdorf is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sanchez yanks on the arm and Oberdorf is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sanchez.
