The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Provinzano as Jasper shoots in.
Jasper looks for a takedown but Provinzano sprawls well.
Jasper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Provinzano's waist but Provinzano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jasper off to one side.

Jasper shoots in and bounces Provinzano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jasper wanted to stand there but Provinzano had control of the position.

Provinzano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jasper's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
