Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Salgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Salgado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Scott! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salgado misses with a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Salgado. Salgado throws a body kick that misses. Scott misses with a takedown attempt and Salgado counters by clinching up. Salgado pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Salgado. Scott is trying to control Salgado's posture but Salgado avoids it. Salgado throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Scott works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott has his hands clasped together around Salgado's back. He's all about the action. Scott is trying to maintain the position but Salgado is very close to passing his half guard. Salgado seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Salgado could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Scott keeping control of the position. Scott actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salgado is looking to stall here but Scott recovers full guard. Scott manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Salgado manages to get himself to full guard.
Salgado is breathing heavily. Salgado is trying to control the position but Scott postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Salgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salgado had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Scott is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Salgado Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Scott's back instead. Scott manages to reverse the position and now he's in Salgado's guard. Nice work there by Scott.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Salgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salgado working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salgado working a defensive guard but Scott passes into half guard.
Scott content to control rather than advance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Salgado wants to improve his position but Scott is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Salgado dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Scott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Scott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Salgado is looking to get to half guard. Scott has hold of Salgado's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Salgado manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Salgado tries to hold on but Scott pushes him away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salgado is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salgado tries to get back to half guard but can't. Scott throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Scott is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Salgado is surviving well by controlling Scott's body position as best he can. Salgado is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to control but he's not successful this time. Salgado is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Scott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Salgado tries to hold on but Scott postures up. Salgado is looking to get to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Salgado fails with the takedown and Scott counters with a shoot takedown. Salgado fights it but they end up in guard. Scott slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Salgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Despite being in the dominant position, David Scott just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Scott shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Salgado decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Scott's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salgado controls the pace. Scott is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Salgado trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Scott is trying to control the position but Salgado postures up. Salgado controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salgado wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving. Scott wants to stand but Salgado is controlling the position. Salgado wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Salgado moves into range and clinches up with Scott. Scott drops down looking for an ankle pick but Salgado pulls his leg out and moves away.
Salgado scores with a takedown into Scott's guard. Scott has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Salgado can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Salgado avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to keep a closed guard but Salgado is proving a slippery customer.
