Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Natschi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gum Guerreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Natschi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gum Guerreiro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Natschi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gum Guerreiro! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Natschi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Guerreiro steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Natschi. Natschi leaves Guerreiro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Natschi has closed the distance and engaged Guerreiro in a clinch.
Natschi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Guerreiro blocks a head kick by Natschi.
Guerreiro thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Natschi if he has to take too many more of those.
Horrible takedown by Guerreiro or perhaps it was just good defense by Natschi which made him look bad. Natschi tries to clinch but Guerreiro moves out of range. Guerreiro circles away from the clinch attempt.

Guerreiro keeps the fight on the outside. Natschi throws a body punch but Guerreiro moves out of range. Natschi keeps the fight on the outside. Natschi throws a leg kick that is checked and Guerreiro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Natschi's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guerreiro wants to control from the top but Natschi keeps moving.

Natschi is breathing heavily. Guerreiro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Natschi as he avoids it easily. Frank Natschi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gum Guerreiro. A lazy left from Natschi finds it's target. Natschi throws a sloppy head kick and Guerreiro counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A head kick by Natschi misses and Guerreiro counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Natschi down! Guerreiro is looking to finish but Natschi is intelligently defending himself.
Natschi is rocked! Guerreiro with a nice head shot there. Oh Natschi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Guerreiro is working Natschi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Guerreiro passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Natschi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Natschi seems to have got his legs back now.

Guerreiro is looking to take a break and control but Natschi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Natschi wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Guerreiro fails in his attempt to clinch. Natschi swats away the attempt to clinch by Guerreiro. Guerreiro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Natschi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Guerreiro won't allow Natschi to get back to his feet. Guerreiro trying to control but Natschi is working from the bottom. Natschi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Natschi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Guerreiro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Guerreiro throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Natschi prevents the takedown attempt.

Natschi misses with a hook. Natschi forces Guerreiro back against the cage and clinches. Guerreiro tries to pull guard but Natschi won't allow it.
Natschi has picked Guerreiro up - he's going for a ride! Natschi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Guerreiro is positioning himself well to prevent Natschi advancing to mount. Guerreiro wants to control but Natschi is keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Guerreiro tries to roll over but Natschi keeps him under control. Natschi stands up from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gum Guerreiro dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Frank Natschi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guerreiro slips under a jab from Natschi. Guerreiro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Natschi, pushing him back against the cage. Natschi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Guerreiro keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Natschi's efforts to push away. Guerreiro keeps control of Natschi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Natschi tries to break the clinch but Guerreiro is controlling the position. Guerreiro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Guerreiro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Natschi looks to land a body kick but Guerreiro moved away. Guerreiro tries to clinch but Natschi moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerreiro wants to clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fight moves into the clinch position. Guerreiro pulls Natschi into guard.

Natschi has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Some wild striking there from Guerreiro.

Natschi misses with the body kick and Guerreiro counters with a body kick. Guerreiro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Guerreiro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Natschi throws out the jab. Natschi throws a lazy head kick and Guerreiro counters with a nice double leg into side control. Natschi won't be happy with that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Natschi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The ground and pound from Guerreiro seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Guerreiro controlling the position from side mount. Natschi sneaks out the side door and pushes Guerreiro away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Gum Guerreiro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Guerreiro shoots in for a takedown but Natschi shows good takedown defense. Natschi throws a sloppy head kick and Guerreiro holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Guerreiro lands a left hand.
Natschi misses with a short punch on the inside. Guerreiro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Natschi throws a lazy right hand but Guerreiro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A nice combination there by Guerreiro.

Gum Guerreiro has got the better of the ground game so far. Natschi holding both Guerreiro 's hands and preventing any damage. It looks like it's working - Guerreiro slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Natschi displaying calm under pressure there. Guerreiro gets a clinch. A short left from Natschi. Natschi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Guerreiro has him pressed against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Natschi throws a head punch that misses. Guerreiro tries to pull guard but Natschi holds him up against the cage and eventually Guerreiro drops back down to his feet.

Guerreiro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Natschi clinches but Guerreiro breaks the clinch and Guerreiro counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Natschi wants to stand up but Guerreiro is controlling him. Natschi is striking but Guerreiro is not phased and passes to half guard. Guerreiro is taking a breather. Natschi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Guerreiro trying to mount his opponent but Natschi defends it. Natschi manages to escape and get back to his feet! Guerreiro tries for a takedown but Natschi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Guerreiro fails to land the takedown. A head kick by Natschi misses and Guerreiro counters with a good low kick that Natschi was not able to check. Gum Guerreiro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gum Guerreiro seems to be getting the better of the standup. Left hook, right uppercut from Guerreiro. Guerreiro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
And that's the end of the fight! Gum Guerreiro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Guerreiro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
