Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alum Brados (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Riot by three days grace blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cristiano Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alum Brados! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Brados. No joy for Silva on that attempt. Nice sprawl there from Brados as Silva shoots in. Brados misses with a low kick. Silva shoots in for a takedown but Brados shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cristiano Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brados closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Silva actively working from the bottom here. Brados content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Brados passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva! Brados takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Silva tries to reverse the position but Brados maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Brados takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Brados working over Silva with some ground and pound. Silva looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Silva wants to get back to full guard. Brados is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now. Silva is trying to maintain the position but Brados is very close to passing his half guard. Brados is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brados is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Silva has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Brados sits in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Brados pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brados tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance. Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Silva tries for a takedown but Brados circles away easily and Brados counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. Silva looking for a guillotine here but Brados defends easily.
Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brados is aware though and is defending well. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Brados chips away with some ground and pound. Brados looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brados showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Silva has his foot on Brados's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brados works his way back into a safe position though. Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brados can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Silva is breathing heavily. Brados is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Brados stopping the sweep attempt from Silva. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva has his takedown stuffed and Brados counters with a takedown into side control. Brados has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Brados scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Brados trying to control the position but Silva is working away. Silva wants to control but Brados postures up. Silva gets back to half guard. Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brados pulls his head out easily.

Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Silva looking very determined here, making life difficult for Brados.

Alum Brados showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Not this time though. Silva wants to sweep but Brados has passed to side control! Silva tries to improve position but can't. Brados wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Brados feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Brados changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brados doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brados manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brados gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brados is aware though and is defending well. Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brados controls the pace. Brados trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Brados drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brados jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Brados landing with the ground and pound. Brados must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Brados tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Brados advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Brados with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva. Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Brados drops back for a leg! Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brados is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brados's back instead. Brados tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Silva working for a submission but Brados is keeping him at bay. Cristiano Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alum Brados is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silva avoids the attempt from Brados to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Alum Brados comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brados has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
