Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Bain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taka Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gomi's choice of entrance music: can't be touched. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Bain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Taka Gomi! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. A nice right hand lands inside from Bain. Gomi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gomi is trying to break the clinch but Bain has him pressed against the cage. Bain successfully pulls guard.
Bain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gomi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gomi wants to get up but he can't break Bain's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gomi wants to stand but Bain has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bain tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bain is trying to control the position but Gomi postures up. Gomi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bain throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gomi wanted to stand there but Bain had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bain has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gomi doesn't defend quickly enough and Bain has managed to lock this one up! Can Gomi escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bain on a fantastic submission victory.
