Tripper's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, TEAR AWAY. Jack Tripper has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bold was covering up waiting for the punch and Tripper finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tripper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tripper trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bold is on top in guard.
Tripper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tripper has his foot on Bold's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bold works his way back into a safe position though.
Tripper striking off his back but it's not causing Bold any problems.
Bold wants to control from the top but Tripper keeps moving.
Bold stopping the sweep attempt from Tripper.
Bold must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tripper lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bold!

Bold is squirming around, avoiding Tripper's attempts to control the action.

Tripper jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bold manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Tripper is breathing heavily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tripper in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Bold regains half guard.
Tripper is trying to control. Bold wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bold wants to get back to his feet.
Tripper working over Bold with some ground and pound. Bold looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bold is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tripper scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bold moves into full guard.
Tripper is working Bold over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Tripper won't allow Bold to sweep him here.
Tripper stands up over Bold, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tripper passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bold is trying to improve his position.
Tripper creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Tripper works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Tripper remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Tripper has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bold is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tripper yanks on the arm and Bold is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tripper.
