Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill hardas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Corner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corner shoots in but no luck this time.
hardas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
hardas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
hardas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Corner as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill hardas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Corner drives through with a takedown into guard.
Corner tries to free his leg and advance position but hardas is retaining full guard.
Corner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Corner throws a front kick aimed at hardas's knee but hardas avoids it well.

and Corner counters by clinching up.

Corner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

hardas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Corner is working away from the top position though.
hardas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
hardas throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
hardas is looking to stand up but Corner isn't so interested in that idea.
hardas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Corner!
hardas is landing with some decent strikes but Corner is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
hardas cracks Corner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

hardas stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Corner is still on wobbly legs! Can hardas finish him?
hardas clinches with his opponent.
Corner seems to have recovered his senses.
Corner manages to break the clinch.
hardas has his takedown stuffed
and Corner counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Corner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Corner scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
hardas tries to kick Corner off but Corner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Corner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Corner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Corner stands and steps away. hardas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Corner slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Corner pulls hardas in close to prevent any damage.
hardas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Corner has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think hardas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Corner has tightened it up now! hardas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
